Chocolate and caramel covered saltine crackers.
I made this recipe with my 6 year old granddaughter last night, let me say that this recipe is so scrumptious that its highly addictive.
This recipe should come with a warning label because its just that all so delicious between the bite of the salt and buttery toffee caramel ,I warn you one bite and you will not be able to stop eating one after the next!
This recipe is so simple and doesn’t take much time at all, a great recipe to get little ones helping with in kitchen even.
You will need a cookie sheet line it with tin foil then coat the tin foil with cooking spray!
Next line your baking sheet with saltine crackers
Then in a pan melt two sticks of butter over medium low heat, then add one cup of brown sugar, bring to a boil, until you see it thicken up.
Then pour over crackers and cover and smear caramel over the crackers. Then place into oven for 3-5 minutes at 350 degrees
In double boiler pan melt chocolate chips until smooth creamy texture. Then take your tray from oven with caramel on it and pour chocolate over the same way.
Place in freezer for 15 minutes.Take out of freezer and peel back of tin foil off ,then break into pieces and enjoy!
