Banana Caramel Delight
This recipe came to me just trying to think of what to make with ingredients I had on hand in the house.I wanted to make something different and try something new.So out of pure curiosity came this yummy all so scrumptious desert.It tastes like a little bite of Heaven in your mouth.
You will need:
One package filo dough
One container of salted caramel cream cheese(room temperature)
4 sticks butter
One cup brown sugar
One cup chopped nuts
Use cooking spray to coat baking sheet
have your filo dough set to side(keep it covered so it doesn’t dry out)
layer a few sheets of filo dough to a cookie sheet
melt two sticks butter in pan, then with a brush, then brush the melted butter over the layer of filo dough, continue to layer, then brush butter on each layer. After you get a decent amount for a crusty bottom then,
spread your salted caramel cream cheese over layers, next
melt two sticks of butter in one pan and add one cup of brown sugar
then add your thinly sliced bananas and caramel to that
next layer the filo dough, brush melted butter, repeat until the remaining filo dough is done.
Brush butter on the top layer, then add remaining caramel and chopped nuts.
Eat warm or cool, all so delicious
You may add a scoop of whipped cream if desired.
