Easy Cherry Jello Cake
1 Box of White Cake Mix ,follow box instructions for ingredients
2 3oz Boxs of Cherry Jell-O
1 Cup Boiling Water
1/2 Cup Cold Water
1 quart heavy cream
add 4 tablespoons sugar to heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla (whip until creamy thick texture)
you can use cool whip if you like
Prepare the cake mix according to the box directions and cool in a 13×9 inch pan. Cool the cake for 15 minutes. Pierce the cake with a wooden spoon or fork all over the cake.
Add boiling water to gelatin mix in a large bowl and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in the cold water, mix together and pour over the top of the cake. Place in the fridge for about 3 hours.
Next frost the top of the cake with whipped heavy cream or cool whip and place back in the fridge for another hour.
Top with Cherries
I grated chocolate on top as well.
